About us

History

Doutta Galla Aged Services was founded in 1991, when a group of community members saw the need for a not-for-profit, non denominational aged care organisation to serve Melbourne’s West. The City of Melbourne was an early and important supporter. Doutta Galla now manages eight aged care residences and three independent living villages across Victoria. We are proud to have maintained our independence, our charitable status, and our commitment to provide accessible, affordable, quality care and accommodation to all – regardless of religious, socioeconomic and ethnic background.
