Fully accredited, Avondale Heights offers a mix of high and low care options as well as day, overnight and residential respite care. It accommodates single residents and couples, providing 108 beds all with ensuite bathrooms, 16 of which have extra service status.

The facility offers a diverse range of activities, many of them with local community involvement. The facility is adjacent to a local reserve and has a walking track passing right at the front entrance. Experienced on-site carers can speak languages other English, ensuring ethnic community members can communicate comfortably at all times.
