Dear Residents, Families and Friends,
I am pleased to inform you that the results from today’s Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT) for COVID-19 for our Woornack residents have all returned negative. In light of this good news our Woornack Home will return to weekly COVID-19 testing and we will monitor residents closely.
All our staff will continue to undertake rapid antigen tests prior to their shift and will continue deliver high quality care, whilst they ensure the highest standard of infection control practices in place.
The Spring season may be upon us but we do need to remain vigilant as community transmission has not eased. For those eligible, Doutta Galla encourages you to have a booster for additional protection.
Please remember that should you chose to visit the Home you will still need to have your RAT test prior to entering the Home.
We will advise you immediately of any changes to you or your family member’s health status. For further information you can reach out to our staff on (03) 9312 0111. In addition, you are welcome to contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
For more support and advice during this time, please reach out to OPAN (Older Persons Advisory Network) on 1800 237 981 or Elder Rights Advocacy Victoria on 1800 171 866. They are available 6am-10pm, 7 days a week.
Thank you for your support, patience and understanding as we continue to navigate the impact that COVID-19 has on our services.
