Dear Residents, Families and Friends,
I am writing to let you know that late this morning we had a few of our residents at our Queens Park Home test positive to COVID-19. Regrettably this means that we are required to go back into an outbreak management plan to safeguard our Home.
These residents are comfortable and isolating in their room, and the family of these residents have been notified.
The Home is awaiting further PCR results this afternoon. Once we have more information, we will advise you and the relevant family members if any other resident tests positive.
We are still testing all our staff before they commence their shifts and they are wearing full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when attending to residents.
Our staff continue in their unwavering commitment to ensuring the highest standard of infection control practices are in place, and we will continue to monitor the situation.
At the moment with a continuing spread of the virus in the community, let us know if you would like the administration staff to set up videoconferencing with loved ones.
We do ask that should you chose to visit the Home, we will limit the number of visitors to 2 per residents and ask that you have your RAT test prior to entering the Home. Please be patient with our staff and follow their instructions when they are guiding you to wear PPE.
