November is a busy month at Doutta Galla – our General Meeting of Trustees (Members) and Annual General Meeting provide opportunity for reflection and celebration of our many achievements from the preceding financial year. We are pleased to share two important updates that ensure leadership stability at a time of substantial change and reinforce our commitment to strong governance and high-quality care.
Annual Report Released
Our 2025 Annual Report is now available. It provides a comprehensive overview of our progress both strategically and operationally, our positive financial performance, and of course our many clinical and care achievements during 2024/25, including:
- Proactive preparation for the new Aged Care Act 2024 and strengthened Quality Standards
- Rollout of our innovative clinical care model led by experienced Registered Nurses
- Continued investment in facilities, technology, and workforce development

Leadership Stability Ensured
Following our Annual General Meeting, we are very pleased to announce the reappointment of two existing Board Directors for a further three-year term:
- Mr Scott Chapman AM – Director and Chair of the Board
- Dr Peter Hertan – Director and Chair of the Risk, Audit, Finance and Assets Sub-Committee
