Dear Resident, Families and Friends,
I am delighted to inform you that we have received clearance to remove any precautionary responses to our Lynch’s Bridge Home following the recent exposure. All our residents have returned negative results to COVID-19. The one resident that had tested positive has now recovered and is no longer isolating.
We will however continue to closely monitor residents’ health and wellbeing.
There is still a high COVID-19 transmission in the community and Doutta Galla will continue to maintain its vigilance, and ensure the Home adheres to the latest COVID-19 safe practices to minimise any further exposures.
For further information you can contact staff at Lynch’s Bridge by calling on 9376 2111. In addition, you are welcome to contact us via covid19questions@dgas.org.au
For more support and advice during please reach out to OPAN (Older Persons Advisory Network) on 1800 237 981 or Elder Rights Advocacy Victoria on 1800 171 866. They are available 6am-10pm, 7 days a week.
I would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge all Australian and New Zealand armed forces who served our countries in theatres of war and peacekeeping personnel as we commemorate this coming Anzac Day.
Thank you for your ongoing support and patience during this time.
Yours sincerely,
Vanda Iaconese
CEO
