Woornack Bulletin Update 3 June 2022
Today’s Update
A final round of testing completed today 03/06/2022 returned a negative result for all residents at the Home. Therefore, we are pleased to advise that the Woornack Home’s COVID-19 exposure is now complete. The Home will return to COVID19 safe practices and staff will continue wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in line with Government directives to safeguard the Home.
Social distancing, hand hygiene and normal infection control cleaning regimes will remain in place.
We will continue to monitor residents’ health and wellbeing closely. The affected residents will no longer need to isolate in their rooms and will be able to move around the Home and residents may leave the Home to attend appointments and social outings.
As you know there continues to be high COVID-19 transmission in the community, we remind you to undertake a rapid antigen test prior to visiting Woornack Home. Please do not attend the Home if you have any COVID19 symptoms or are feeling unwell.
If you have any questions, you can call Woornack Home on 03 9312 0111 or you can email us at covid19questions@dgas.org.au
Thank you for your ongoing support and patience during this challenging time.
