Under the new Aged Care Act 2024, residential aged care places will be assigned directly to older people, not to providers. This reform, known as Places to People, gives you more choice, control and confidence to decide who delivers your care and where you live.
For more than three decades, Doutta Galla Aged Services has walked beside older people and their families across Melbourne’s west, now supporting more than 800 residents across our eight residential aged care homes and retirement living.
Doutta Galla also provides in-home support to hundreds of clients across all home care categories. Our clinical and care teams bring deep experience, compassion and professionalism to everything they do. Every one of our homes is led by a Registered Nurse (Div 1) Home Manager and has a Registered Nurse on site 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In 2024–25 we exceeded our Registered Nurse care minutes target, delivering 110% of the required time with residents.
Our four Clinical Nurse Specialists bring focused expertise in:

- Wound, incontinence and ostomy care

Our in-house chefs prepare more than 365,000 meals each year, cooked fresh on site and shaped by the tastes and traditions of the people who live with us.
