Easter Message

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Doutta Galla Aged Services, I want to thank each of you for the gratitude you have expressed to Doutta Galla for the actions we have taken as an organisation to secure the safety of our residents and staff.

As a Board we acknowledge the difficulties everyone is facing. And as a Board we will always place safety at the top of our list – for residents, staff and families. We value the wonderful and supportive responses we have had from our residents and families and appreciate all of you who continue to care with generosity of spirit, joy and an overwhelming commitment to your loved ones.

I understand that for many of you this might be the first time you have been apart from family and friends at Easter, and for those who celebrate it, the Easter story is one of hope. After sadness comes great joy and hope for the future.

As we face this time without physical connection together, please take a moment to reflect on what will be. We will be with each other again. Our footy fields, churches and our shopping centres will thrive again in time. We will laugh and we will celebrate. And we will have that cup of tea together again!
