Doutta Galla Aged Services offer permanent and respite residential care in eight fully accredited residences, serving Melbourne’s West and regional Victoria since 1991. We also provide permanent care for people living with a disability too in our Footscray Home.
We are committed to supporting you to live the best life you can. Our care approach focuses on providing the best clinical care, a stimulating and engaging environment and a variety of programs and activities that are designed to promote social connection, health and wellbeing.
We have staff from diverse cultural background that care for residents from different countries.
However you say it, ‘you’re welcome’ at Doutta Galla.
Our team works with you every day to support your health and happiness. We help you stay closely connected to your community, family and friends so that you continue to participate, contribute and enjoy activities as you have throughout your life.
Doutta Galla’s respite care services are here to give you the additional care you need. If you’ve been to hospital and need post-operative care, we are here to help. If you are recovering from an illness or injury, or you just need some time out, we’ll give you the gentle care you need to get back into your normal routine. Respite benefits both the person requiring short-stay care but importantly the carer who needs a break to rest and recharge. Our respite service has a 2 week minimum stay period.
Your loved one’s last few weeks or months are a sensitive time. This time can be a graceful and nurturing one for a family. Our Palliative care team has the experience and wisdom to help your loved one and family through this phase with dignity and compassion.
Doutta Galla provides a purpose-built specialised Memory Support Unit for residents living with dementia. It includes dedicated, qualified staff with dementia specific programs and activities.
