The residence has five interlinked houses with one being a secure memory support house and each with its own courtyard. Our residents share a sunny central dining room and gather daily to participate in an active lifestyle program of cultural and spiritual events, physical exercise and music performances
Woornack’s central location means residents enjoy easy access to buses, trains and community hubs such as the RSL, local churches, Sunshine Plaza and the lawn bowling club.

Understanding how aged care pricing works can be confusing. In simple terms the Commonwealth Government determines all care fees both the basic daily fee and they manage the means testing process.
The basic daily care fee is paid by every resident and covers living costs of personal care, some group activities, meals, cleaning, laundry, heating and cooling. The fee is set at 85% of the full single aged pension.
The home sets the price of the room based on the size, style and amenities provided. Residents can choose to pay a lump sum known as a RAD or daily, known as DAP. See our pricing examples below based on the room types we have at Footscray and using the daily accommodation payment (DAP) option.
